I was really, really nervous on the way to the book signing so I’m guessing that’s why my hand slipped while I was trimming a poster. Yep, I cut a big hole in my brand new pants. Fortunately, my favorite Ann Taylor Loft store is right across from Borders. After I ran in shouting for help, it’s really all a blur of pants flying over the fitting room door, clipping tags, and my friend Vicki(who works there) shoving me out the door with about three minutes to spare.

Crisis averted, I had a great time signing books, visiting with friends, and making some new ones. And I owe the Borders at the Beach store a huge thank you for making me welcome and being so nice!
