I love the Dunkin’ Donuts commercial where the woman stands on her roof and shouts, “I’ve had six cups already!” or something to that effect. That’s exactly how I feel when I find a good coffee. I do want to drink it and drink it and well, after six cups, you probably do feel like you should climb on the roof and shout a few things, LOL!

Unfortunately, the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee did not live up to the commercial’s promise. I love the coffee that I get at the DD stores, so I was excited to find the brand at my local grocery store. But here’s the lowdown:

The good: There wasn’t a bad flavor to the brew like you can get with some inexpensive coffees. It wasn’t acidic at all.

The not-so-good: It was just blah. Bland. Even my husband who really doesn’t have an opinion about coffee as long as it’s hot and caffeinated said that it didn’t have much flavor to it.

Final thoughts: It’s not the first time I’ve bought the brand and I’ve been unimpressed. It’s a little too pricey for unimpressed. But I will stop at the local DD (opening soon) and buy coffee because I haven’t had a bad cup at the store. And my kids like donuts. Oh, who am I kidding? I like donuts.

I love the coffee in the D&Ds store too! But when I tried to make it at home it wasn't as good either.
I wonder if they brew it differently.
