RWA O9 is about to commence. I’m leaving before the crack of dawn in the morning in order to make it to DC in time for the literacy signing. Because of a snafu, I had to change my flight (really, it was my bad, but this is a sticky subject with my husband so we’ll just slide right over this part of the conversation, K?) Turns out I really needed that extra day because (surprise!) copy edits for my January book landed on my doorstep Friday and are due this Friday, which means I have to mail them today!

Finished the edit about midnight, managed seven hours sleep, and now it’s time to pack. Whee! Oh, wait. First I have to hem that pair of black pants that have been hanging in my closet since February. What am I doing at the computer? Oh, yeah…that would be because I’m a master procrastinator.

Hope everyone has a great week…I’ll be back Monday. And if anyone sees my children doing anything crazy while I’m gone, it’s all their dad’s fault.
