Hello, world.  Wow. I took nearly six weeks off from the blogosphere. I meant to take maybe a week, two at the most. But then there were Christmas presents to make and brunches to attend and it zoomed by in a flood of chocolate, ornaments, carols, puzzles, travel and chocolate. (Yes, I meant to say chocolate twice. There was a lot of chocolate.)

I started work on a new book today, have a new budget, a new eating plan and a new organizational system. Ha, I’m a glutton for punishment. But the new year is a good excuse to take stock of what works and doesn’t–to wipe the slate clean and start fresh, every year. I love it.

What I don’t love is the frigid weather we’ve been having here. No laughing from those of you in the frozen tundra up north.
